[ENG] Affiliate Account Deletion Process

In our continuous effort to foster transparency, Shopee would like to announce a series of updates in regards to the account deletion process. Effective
March 28th 2024, kindly be informed that upon successful deletion of your Shopee account, you will no longer be able to access your Affiliate Account and any remaining affiliate order/ commission earned in your account will be forfeited


Steps for a Successful Account Deletion:

  1. Request deletion

    1. On the Shopee app, click on the ‘Me’ tab
    2. Head over to the ‘Account Settings’ icon located at the top right next to the shopping cart icon
    3. Click on Request Account Deletion and click ‘OK

2. Acknowledge Terms & Conditions

Review some of our important notes thoroughly and acknowledge the terms and conditions provided

3. Security Check

For security purposes, please verify your identity with the methods provided.

4. Specify the reason for the deletion

Select the reason for your account deletion with your email address and agree to the terms and conditions.

5. Submit your Request 

Once submitted, Shopee will proceed to process your request
 

Affiliate Account Disabling

Upon successful deletion, your associated Affiliate Account will be automatically disabled. This means you can no longer access the Shopee Affiliate dashboard interface. 

 

Commission Calculations and Payment Process:

Initiating the deletion of your Shopee account prompts a halt in commission calculations for any estimated commission. However, if you have validated orders, rest assured that the commission payment process remains unaffected. This ensures that your validated commissions will continue to be processed seamlessly, providing the financial recognition you deserve for your efforts.
