[ENG] Shopee Video Community Guidelines
To maintain a safe, trustworthy and positive environment for all users, Shopee has implemented a penalty system for users who post video content that violates the Shopee Video Community Guidelines. Depending on the severity level, users may receive up to 15 penalty points per violation.

⚠️ Note 1. Shopee assesses the severity and intent of each violation on a case-by-case basis. If an action is intentionally repeated or has a serious impact, Shopee may immediately issue the maximum penalty of 15 points without a prior warning.

Penalties based on points accumulation
Shopee implements restrictions on a user's ability to use the Shopee Video feature when their accumulated penalty points reach a certain threshold. The specific penalties are as follows:

9 - 11 Points | Temporary banned from posting videos on Shopee Video for 7 days |

0 - 5 Points | No action will be taken |
⚠️ Note Earning 15 penalty points from a single violation is considered a serious offense and Shopee may immediately or permanently suspend the user's account. |
How to check your penalty points
Users can check if they have received any penalty points by following the steps below:
On the Me Page, select the Live & Video tab.
Go to the Video tab and click on the Video Health banner.
On the Video Health page, you can view a list of violations that have occurred over the past 30 days under the Violation Videos section. This includes details such as type of violation, the date and time the violation was detected, and the status of any appeal you may have submitted (if any).
The violations will be displayed from the most recent to the oldest. You can select any video from the Violation Videos list to learn more about the rules and policies you have violated and use it as a guideline to avoid similar violations in the future.
Your account's Video Health status is determined by your accumulated penalty points. To ensure continued access to the Shopee Video feature, we recommend maintaining your status at “Good” or higher.

To avoid receiving penalty points, please read the Shopee Video Community Guidelines carefully and ensure your video content complies with all the policies and guidelines.
Penalty points reset timeline
Shopee will automatically reset a user's penalty point to 0 on the first day of each quarter, as follows:
Quarter 1: 1 January
Quarter 2: 1 April
Quarter 3: 1 July
Quarter 4: 1 October
⚠️ Note 1. If a user receives penalty points close to the reset date, those points will expire on that date, but any penalties (i.e video posting access) will remain in effect until the next quarter.
2. Example: If you received 12 penalty points on 31 March, your penalty points will be reset to 0 on 1 April, but your video posting access will remain banned for 30 days until 1 May.
3. Points reset is not available for users who have been permanently banned from posting videos on Shopee Video (who have accumulated 15 or more points).

Appeal for Shopee Video penalty points
If your Shopee Video account posting or commenting access are temporarily suspended, you can appeal through the “Notifications” received or the “Warning banner” from the video on the Shopee app.

Comments that are prohibited on Shopee Video
Comments on videos submitted by users can be viewed by the public. To create a safe community, avoid the following comments:
Banned Comments | Description |
Spam comments | Comments contain excessive spam. |
Abusive language | Harassment, cyberbullying, and vulgar comments, such as swear words or offensive remarks. |
Sensitive Information | Information that can harm national and social security, and is inconsistent with the laws and regulations of government authorities (e.g.: Ethnic discrimination, gambling, illegal gatherings, etc.). |
Sharing Personal Information | Other people's personal information is distributed without the person's permission, including name, phone number, address, identification number, and other personal information. |
