Sequential payment provides users with at least 2 methods for direct payment in the Apple App Store, Google Play, Huawei App Gallery, Youtube Premium, and Spotify checkout. If the first payment method chosen has an insufficient balance or limit, the second payment method will be used for the transaction attempt.
How to enable Sequential Payment?

Step 1: At the authorisation page, change the payment type to Sequential Payment Step 2: Click on the ‘OK’ button when the pop-up message appears Step 3: Click the toggle to enable sequential payment Step 4: Select the ‘Confirm’ button 💡 Tip: - Make sure your Allow SPayLater toggle is enabled for sequential payment transactions

How to adjust payment method priority?
Step 1: Go to your ShopeePay page, click on the settings button Step 2: Select Linked Apps/Services Step 3: Click on Payment Method Priority Step 4: Click on ‘Edit’ Step 5: Drag the bar to arrange the priority sequence Step 6: Click on ‘Save’ ⚠️ Note: - Existing single payment-linked app records will not be affected by any changes in payment method priority.
- Some merchants may not have SPL acceptance or sequential payment enabled which will result in a single payment method
- Users who have not activated SPayLater or are denied from using SPayLater will not see the option for SPayLater as a sequential payment method.
How do I disable the Sequential Payment method?
Step 1: Go to the respective merchant and select ‘Sequential Payment’
Step 2: The payment type page will then be displayed
Step 3: Toggle off ‘use sequential payment method’
Step 4: Select your preferred Single Payment method
Step 5: Click on Confirm
