[My Account] Why am I unable to login to my Shopee account?

Oh no! We understand how frustrating it is to lose access to your account but do not worry, we will ensure your account is reinstated as quickly as possible so you can be back on track with your shopping spree with Shopee.
 
Here are some of the reasons as to why your account is blocked or frozen:
 
Suspicious Activity
 
Our system will automatically block your account if it notices any suspicious activity that could jeopardize your account and safety. Suspicious activities include:
 
  • Multiple login attempts to your account
  • Suspected hacking attempts
  • Unusual sign-in or new device
  • Changes to your username or password

Breach of Shopee’s Policies 
 
Users who violate one or more of our policies will face account limitations or permanent suspension. Violations of Shopee’s policies include:
 
  • Exploiting vouchers and/or promotions
  • Participating in scams
  • Generating fake orders
  • Other fraudulent activities

How to reinstate your account? 🔓
 
If you find your account blocked due to suspicious activities on your account or did not violate any Shopee’s policies, kindly follow the steps below to have your account reinstated.

Step 1: Go to the Me tab 
Step 2: Click on Chat with Shopee 
Step 3: Type Live Agent 
Step 4: Click on Chat with agent 
Step 5: Select the topic as Account and Security
Step 6: You will then be redirected to a live chat agent
Step 7: Prepare to send the following supporting documents if requested:
 
  • An image of your identification card
  • A selfie holding your IC
  • A copy of the latest bank statement
  • A screenshot of the login error message
 
⚠️ Note:
 
Please remember to select Account and Security as the enquiry type to be redirected to a Shopee live chat agent.
