2. What is Perlindungan Tenang?
Perlindungan Tenang is a Bank Negara Malaysia initiative, developed with the insurance and takaful industry, to offer protection plans that are affordable, accessible, easy to understand, and simple to claim.
It aims to meet the needs of underserved groups, especially the bottom 40% of households (B40), by providing insurance and takaful coverage against key life risks.
PerlindunganKu Allianz4All, a personal accident insurance product, will be available as a Perlindungan Tenang product for purchase on the Shopee and ShopeePay platform.
3. Who is the insurance provider for Personal Accident Insurance?

This product is underwritten by Zurich General Insurance Malaysia Berhad (“Zurich”), and distributed by Zurich's appointed insurance agent, MoneeInsure Agency Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. (formerly known as SeaInsure Agency Malaysia Sdn. Bhd.) (“MoneeInsure”) via the Shopee online platform.

Allianz General Insurance Company (Malaysia) Berhad is the insurer partnering with Shopee for distribution to all Shopee / ShopeePay users.

Basic / Gold Personal Accident- Child’s benefit is 50% of the adult’s benefit sum insured only.
- Child refers to an insured person who is thirty (30) days old to seventeen (17) years old (Age of next birthday).

5. Can I cancel my policy?
Personal Accident Insurance (Zurich General):
Please note that once the policy is successfully issued, it is non-cancellable and non-refundable. Your coverage will expire on the last date of the coverage period.
PerlindunganKu Allianz4All: There is a 15-day free-look period for this product. (Calculation is from the date of cancellation request to policy start date.) Cancellations within this period are allowed, and a full refund will be provided, subject to no claims being made & other TNCs. Cancellations after the free-look period will not receive any refunds. Please contact Allianz customer service for cancellation at customer.service@allianz.com.my or 1300 22 5542.
6. What do I need to do if there are changes to my contact/personal details?
Personal Accident Insurance (Zurich General): Kindly inform Zurich of any changes in your contact details/life profile, including nomination, occupation and personal pursuits which would affect your risk profile. Please reach out to Zurich’s customer service at 1-300-888-622 (Call Centre) or callcentre@zurich.com.my (E-mail).
PerlindunganKu Allianz4All: Please contact Allianz customer service at customer.service@allianz.com.my or 1300 22 5542 for any changes in your contact/personal details.
7. What is the insurance coverage period?
Personal Accident Insurance (Zurich General): Complimentary Personal Accident
- The coverage period is for 30 days.
Basic / Gold Personal Accident
- The coverage period is for 1 year.

- The coverage period is for 1 year.
8. Can the Complimentary Personal Accident coverage period overlap with the Basic/Gold Personal Accident coverage period?
Yes, and the sum insured for both plans can be combined during the coverage periods of both plans.
For example, if you redeem the Complimentary Personal Accident and purchase a Basic Personal Accident on the same day, both plans will start on the same effective date.
