[SPayLater] What should I do if I suspect unauthorised or fraudulent transactions on my SPayLater account?

If you suspect any unauthorised or fraudulent transactions on your SPayLater account, follow these steps immediately:
 
1. Activate the ShopeePay Kill Switch - This will temporarily freeze your ShopeePay account, preventing any transactions or activities, including SPayLater offline payments and linked payments. Please refer to the steps below:
 

ShopeePay App

Step 1: Go to Me page

Step 2: Tap Account and Security

Step 3: Select Kill Switch

Step 4: Select a Reason and click Confirm 

Step 5: Click Confirm again
 
 

Shopee App

Step 1: Go to the Me page and tap ShopeePay

Step 2: Tap Me to enter the ShopeePay Me page

Step 3: Tap Settings

Step 4: Select Kill Switch

Step 5: Select a Reason and click Confirm 

Step 6: Click Confirm again 
 
 
 
Note: Activating the ShopeePay Kill Switch will disable SPayLater transactions outside the Shopee app. However, you can still complete checkouts with SPayLater within the Shopee app.
  
2. Report the incident and submit a Kill Switch deactivation request - Submit a request via our webform for security verification, including details of the incident. Please refer to the steps below:
 

ShopeePay App：

Step 1: Go to the Me page

Step 2: Tap Account and Security

Step 3: Select Kill Switch

Step 4: Select Deactivate Kill Switch. You will be redirected to a secure web form.

Step 5: Fill in the required details and submit the form
 
 
 

Shopee App:

Step 1: Go to the Me page and tap ShopeePay

Step 2: Tap Me to enter the ShopeePay Me page,

Step 3: Tap Settings

Step 4: Select Kill Switch

Step 5: Select Deactivate Kill Switch. You will be redirected to a secure web form.

Step 6: Fill in the required details and submit the form

 

 

 

Note: Once you have submitted the form, our team will review your details to make sure that your account is secure. We will only deactivate the Kill Switch once we have confirmed that there is no security risk to your account.
