[Self-collection Locker] Self-collection Locker FAQ

Self-collection Locker is a fully automated self-collection service that allows you to collect your parcel at your convenience from selected lockers. You may collect it within the given collection window after it has been delivered and placed into the locker by the SPX rider.
 
1. How do I use Self-collection Locker? 
 
Here’s how it works:
Step 1: Select “Self-collection Locker” during checkout on the Shopee App
Step 2: The rider delivers and scans your parcel into your selected locker
Step 3: You’ll receive a notification via the Shopee App, WhatsApp, and email once it’s ready 
Step 4: Collect your parcel within the collection window stated on the app
 
To choose another Self-collection Locker:
Step 1: On the Checkout page, select Shipping Option
Step 2: Select Self-Collection
Step 3: Select Choose Another Collection Point
Step 4: Enter your address to search for your desired locker
Step 5: Select Confirm
Step 6: Select Place Order
 
⚠️Note: If the parcel is not collected within the collection window stated on the app, the order will be cancelled, and the parcel will be returned to the seller.
 
2. How do I collect my parcel from the locker?
 
Once your parcel is ready:

Step 1: You’ll receive a 6-digit PIN via the Shopee App and WhatsApp
Step 2: Visit your selected locker within the collection window stated on the app
Step 3: Press “Collection” on the locker screen
Step 4: Enter your 6-digit PIN
Step 5: Press “Collect Now
Step 6: The locker door will open automatically, and you can collect your parcel

3. I didn’t receive my 6-digit PIN. What should I do?
 
If your parcel status shows “Ready for Collection”, notifications are automatically sent via:
  • Shopee App (Push Notification)
  • Email
  • WhatsApp (from SPX)
 
Please check:
  • Your Shopee App notifications
  • Your email inbox (including spam/junk folder)
  • Your WhatsApp messages
 
If the parcel status shows “Ready for Collection”, the PIN should already have been sent through these channels.
 
4. How long will my parcel be kept in the locker?
 
Your parcel will be held within the collection window stated in the app once it is marked “Ready for Collection.”
 
5. What happens if I don’t collect my parcel within the collection window? 
 
If not collected within the collection window stated in the app : 
  • The order will be cancelled.
  • The parcel will be automatically marked as Return To Seller (RTS).
  • An SPX driver will retrieve it and return it to the seller, and you will be refunded.
 
You may coordinate directly with the seller for further assistance once it is returned.
 
6. What are the maximum parcel size and weight allowed?
 
  • Maximum Weight per item/order: 15kg
  • Longest side per item/order: 40cm
  • Parcel value: Not more than RM200
 
Parcels exceeding these limits are not eligible for locker storage.
 
7. My parcel was returned to the seller due to size issues. Why?
 
If your parcel was shipped with undeclared or oversized dimensions exceeding the allowed limits:
  • It cannot be stored in the locker.
  • It will be returned to the seller.
 
You may contact the seller directly to arrange the next steps.
 
8. What if I failed to make a payment? How long will the parcel be kept?
 
Shopee MY currently does not support Cash on Delivery (COD) for Buyer Self-Collection (BSC).
 
Please ensure your order is fully paid for during checkout to avoid any issues. 
 
9. What is the shipping fee for the Self-collection Locker? 
 
Self-collection Locker and Collection Points share the same shipping channel.
  • Shipping fee: Same as Collection Point (FE Shipping Fee applies).
