Hi, how can we help?

[ShopeeFood Merchant] What Is the Daily Check-In Feature and Why am I receiving the PN?

English | Bahasa Malaysia

The daily check-in feature is designed to help you manage your store operations more efficiently each day. It serves as a reminder to review your store status and ensure everything is set correctly before you start receiving orders. Based on your store setup and eligibility, this feature helps reduce the chances of receiving orders when your store is not operating.

Frequently Asked Question:

1. Why am I receiving the Check-In push notification (PN)?
  • You will receive a Push Notification (PN) 30 minutes before your store’s opening time. This notification reminds you to log in to your ShopeeFood Partner App and confirm your store status for the day.
  • At the same time, the system will automatically pause your store for the rest of the day until you take action from the check-in notification.

2. What do I need to do after I receive the PN?
  • After clicking on the PN, a check-in pop-up window will appear. You must select one of the following options to confirm your store status:

  • Yes, store is open today: Your store status will be set to “Open” on the ShopeeFood app, and customers can place orders as usual until your set closing time.
  • No, store is closed: Your store status will be set to “Closed” on the ShopeeFood app, and you will not receive any orders for the day.

3. What happens if I don’t take any action?
  • If you do not select any option:
    • The check-in pop-up window will continue to appear.
    • Your store will remain paused for the rest of the day and will not receive any orders.

4. Why am I receiving a check-in pop-up while my store is open?
  • You may also receive a pop-up window if your store has reached the system’s cancellation order threshold. This happens when your store has met or exceeded the allowed number of cancelled orders.
  • In this case, you will need to choose one of the following options:

  • Pause Store: Your store is not operating on that day, or you are receiving too many orders during peak hours and need to temporarily stop incoming orders.
  • Keep Open: Your store is operating as usual and continues receiving orders normally.

5. Can I unpause my store after it has been automatically paused?
  • Yes. If your store was automatically paused by the system, you may click “Unpause” in your Partner App. Once unpaused, your store status will change to Open, and you can start receiving orders.
