[SPX Express] FAQs for SPX Express (SPX) Pick-Up Service

Pick-up Eligibility

 

Q. Which state/area is covered for SPX Pick-up service?

Effective 17 October 2022, SPX Pick-up Service is available in Klang Valley, Penang, Negeri Sembilan, Melaka, Perak, Johor, Kelantan, Kedah, Perlis, Terengganu, and Pahang.

Q. What are the criteria to be eligible for SPX pick-up service?

Sellers with an average Daily Order count of ≥10 paid orders in the last 30 days are eligible for SPX pick-up service.

 

Q. What happens if I do not meet the criteria for SPX pick-up service?

Don't worry. You can drop off your parcels at our nearest partner drop-off point around you. You may refer to the list of drop-off points HERE.

 

Pick-up Arrangement

 

Q. What are the standard operating hours for SPX pick-up service?

Our standard operating hours are 09.00 AM to 07.00 PM daily.

 

Q. How do I arrange for SPX pick-up service?

If you are eligible for this service, the Seller Centre will automatically generate two options: Drop-off and Pick-up. You can choose the 'Pick-Up' option if you plan to arrange for it.

 

Q. Can I choose a specific time slot when arranging for a pick-up?

You can only choose a pick-up date. However, you may contact the driver directly to try to arrange for your preferred time slot and our First Mile team will try their best to accommodate based on availability.

 

Q. I have registered my pick-up address in the system. Can I arrange SPX to pick up the parcels at a different address? 

You may update or change your pick-up address in the system beforehand. After that, please inform your regular driver on the changes to avoid any inconvenience.

 

Q. Does SPX provide pick-up service on Sunday?

Yes. We provide pick-up service on Sunday from 09.00 AM to 07.00 PM.

 

Q. What happens if the regular driver I am assigned to does not work on Sunday?

You may inform the driver and the driver will pass the message to SPX pick-up personnel. SPX pick-up personnel will arrange for a pick-up with another driver.

 

Q. What is the cut-off time for orders to be scheduled for pick-up on the same day?

Pick-up on the same day can be requested if the shipment is arranged before 3 PM. Pick-date will be scheduled on the next working day for shipment arranged after 3 PM.

 

Q. Should I make a reservation on a daily basis for pick-up service, or can I simply reserve it for the whole week?

You can only reserve the pick-up service for up to 2 days through the Seller Centre.

 

Q. Can I consolidate my orders if I have multiple accounts?

Yes. You can consolidate your orders from multiple accounts, as long as any one of the accounts is eligible for SPX pick-up service.

 

Q. Is there any possibility that the driver will reject my parcel?

Yes. SPX driver will reject any parcel if:

  1. The order has exceeded the weight limit. (maximum of 30kg for West Malaysia, maximum of 50kg for South East Asia)
  2. The order is duplicated. (e.g. the same tracking number is used for more than one order/packaging).
  3. Parcel/AWB is damaged.
  4. AWB does not belong to SPX.
