[My Account] Why did I not receive my verification code/One-Time Password (OTP) via SMS?

The verification code is valid for 5 minutes. Please keep your mobile phone signal active and avoid repeating the operation multiple times in a short period.
 
Reasons why you may not be receiving the One-Time Password: 
 
  • Poor mobile phone signal strength 
  • The SMS capacity of your mobile phone has reached its maximum limit
  • Software updates may be causing abnormalities in the app for receiving text messages
  • Incorrect mobile phone number entered
  
Are you facing trouble getting your verification code/One-Time Password (OTP) via SMS? Here are some solutions that you can try:
  
  • Get a better line signal for your phone
  • Resend the code (up to 4 times)
  • Restart your phone, reinsert the SIM, and request for a new code
  • Remove any ad blockers on your phone
  • Verify linked number
 
Still not receiving your One-Time Password (OTP) via SMS? Try changing your phone number to a new one to receive the OTP via our Change Mobile Number Application
  
If the issue persists, kindly contact us via the channels at the bottom of the page with:
  
  • Shopee username
  • Issue date and time
  • Phone model and version (Android/iOS)
  • Service provider
  • Last page during code request (e.g. password reset, bank update)

Please know that the One-Time Password or Verification Code can only be received via Voice Call, SMS and Whatsapp Message. It will not be sent via email.
