Hi, how can we help?

[ShopeePay] How do I get refunded at ShopeePay merchants?

English | Bahasa Malaysia

You can get a refund if you paid more than required, such as in these situations:

  • Your ShopeePay balance was deducted more than once
  • You filled in the wrong payment amount
  • You make a second payment after the first one is shown as failed on the merchant's system

⚠️ Note:

Before requesting a refund, you may want to try troubleshooting to resolve the above-mentioned issues.

  • If the ShopeePay merchant's system reflects Failure, refresh your Shopee app to see if the transaction is updated on the merchant's end. If this doesn't work, request a refund to your ShopeePay account from Shopee Customer Service via the channels at the bottom of the page.

  • If you see an error message, update your Shopee app before proceeding.

Here are 2 ways you can get your refund if troubleshooting fails:

  • Requesting a cash refund from the ShopeePay merchant
  • Request a refund from Shopee Customer Service to your ShopeePay account. You'll need to provide:
  • All relevant Transaction IDs
  • Evidence from the ShopeePay merchant indicating the actual amount required and the amount they received

It will be refunded to your Refunds sub-wallet immediately.

⚠️ Note:

The refund can be deposited into your bank account if the amount has exceeded your ShopeePay balance limit. This can happen if you topped up your balance and proceeded with multiple wrong payments.
