How to cancel an order on the Shopee platform
Step 1: Go to the Me tab Step 2: Click on To ShipStep 3: Select your order Step 4: Click on Cancel Order Step 5: Select Cancellation Reason Step 6: Click on Confirm Please take note of the following information regarding order cancellation: - Paid local orders (Without Pre-Order)
- You may cancel anytime before the seller arranges the shipment
- Cancellation is not possible once the shipment has been arranged
- The seller’s approval is required for cancellation, regardless of shipment status
- The seller has 1 day to respond after submitting your request
- Our system will automatically cancel the order and initiate a refund if the seller fails to respond
- Paid overseas orders (Without Pre-Order)
- Your order will be instantly cancelled within 1 hour of placing the order before shipment arrangements
- The seller’s approval is required for cancellation after 1 hour
- Cancellation is not possible once the shipment is arranged
How to check the status of your cancellation request
Step 1: Select View Cancellation Details under My Purchases Step 2: Check the cancellation status of your order
How to withdraw your cancellation request
If you change your mind about the cancellation, you can withdraw your request using the steps below: Step 1: Select the order that you requested to cancel Step 2: Click on Withdraw Request Step 3: Click on Confirm ⚠️ Note - Sellers can reject cancellation requests for orders already packed or arranged for shipment.
- If needed, you can communicate with the seller through Shopee Chat or raise a return/refund request after receiving the order.
- Refunds are automatically processed upon successful cancellations.
- Only one cancellation request can be submitted for every order. If your cancellation request is rejected or withdrawn, you cannot submit another request for the same order.
