[Product Ratings] How do I rate and review a product?

Rating a product

 

You can rate a product once the order it belongs to is completed. Returned, refunded or cancelled orders are not eligible for rating. To rate a product, please follow the steps below:

Step 1: Go to the Me tab

Step 2: Click on To Rate

Step 3: Select the order you wish to rate 

Step 4: Click on Rate 

Step 5: Rate Product Quality 

Step 6: Add Photos and/or Videos

Step 7: Write a Review on the product

Step 8: Toggle on Leave Your Review Anonymously if you choose 

Step 9: Rate the Seller’s Service, Delivery Speed and Driver’s Service

Step 10: Leave a Review on the Courier's Service 

Step 11: Click on Submit

 

You can then rate Product Quality for each product in the order of Seller Service, Delivery Speed, and Driver Service for the order. 

 

Rating Product Quality 


Rate the Product Quality using the stars (5 stars being the highest) > Add Photo and/or Video > Write a review.

Rate the Seller Service, Delivery Speed, and Driver Service for the order respectively by using the stars (5 stars being the highest)

 

Once you’re done with both the product and order ratings, you can select Submit.

 

📍 Definitions:


  • Product Quality - The quality of the product
  • Seller Service - The quality of service provided by the seller. (e.g. seller’s attitude, helpfulness in answering queries)
  • Delivery Speed - Product received within estimated delivery dates
  • Driver Service - Service and efficiency of the courier

 

⚠️ Note

 

  • A low rating for Delivery Speed and Driver Service will not be calculated into the seller's overall product rating
  • You can feedback on the courier service to share your experience with us
  • You may also hide your username by enabling the Leave your review anonymously toggle
  • You need to rate all 4 areas before you can submit your rating

 

Reviewing a product

 

There are 3 elements of a product review:

 

  • Text
  • Photo (up to 5 per review)
  • Video (1 per review, between 3 to 60 seconds) 
 

When leaving a review, you should:

 

  • Use respectful language.
  • Write a truthful review based on your experience (e.g. whether the item received has met expectations, how well the item received matches the product description on the listing).
  • Showcase the product from different angles using photos/videos to help give others a clearer visual representation of the product in real life. You can take a photo or video directly via the Shopee App, or upload them from your device.

 

 

You should not:

  • Give irrelevant feedback that is not about the product, seller’s service, delivery speed, or driver’s service
  • Use excessive/repeated emojis, words, or characters, which is considered spam
  • Use language or photos/videos that are offensive
  • Upload photos/videos that are irrelevant to product, seller’s service, delivery speed, or driver’s service (e.g. blacked out photos/videos, photos/videos that do not show the product)

 

You can earn Shopee Coins from product reviews that meet the following criteria:

 

 

Up to 3 Shopee Coins

Up to 5 Shopee Coins

Review contains no less than 50 characters, excluding spacing (e.g. "Good Quality" is counted as 11 characters)

Review contains no less than 1 photo

or

and

Review contains 1 video

Review adheres to our product review guidelines

 

⚠️ Note

 

  • Any reviews that do not adhere to the product review guidelines above will be removed by Shopee and any Shopee Coins given will be withdrawn.
  • No extra Coins will be awarded for edited reviews.
  • Coin reward will vary depending on review quality and the item reviewed. The final decision is up to Shopee’s discretion
