1. What is DuitNow QR?

DuitNow QR is an easy and secure instant fund service that allows you to make payments to merchants. It is also known as the National QR Standard which is a unified QR code that accepts payments from any participating mobile banking apps and e-wallets.

2. Who can use DuitNow QR?

All new and existing ShopeePay customers can make payments using DuitNow QR. Kindly ensure you have updated to the latest version of the Shopee app.

3. Do I have to pay for using DuitNow QR services?

For customers, there are no charges for any DuitNow QR transaction.

4. Where will I find the DuitNow QR?

The DuitNow QR will be displayed at any participating Bank and e-wallet merchant's payment counters.

5. How long does it take for the payment to go through?

The payment will go through instantly once the transaction is successful.

6. Do I need to register to use DuitNow QR?

There is no registration required. You will be able to scan the DuitNow QR via ShopeePay or any other participating Bank's mobile banking app or e-Wallet to make payment.

7. Is there a limit set on the number of transactions that I can perform for DuitNow QR?

There is no limit on the number of DuitNow QR transactions, provided the transaction amount is within your ShopeePay wallet daily, monthly and annual transaction limits. You can refer to your ShopeePay wallet transaction limit to understand better.​​​​​

8. What should I do if the merchant or I have accidentally made a wrong DuitNow QR transaction? 

If you are still at the merchant's premises, you may settle the discrepancies with the merchant directly. Kindly ask the merchant to nullify the incorrect payment and then you may proceed to make a new one.
