⚠️Announcement: LATEST SHOPEE LIVE GUIDELINES [Effective 24th May 2024]:
All selected Shopee Affiliates may add products from more than 1 shop to their Orange Bag in a single livestream session.
It is required for all selected Affiliates to showcase a minimum of 3 physical products during their live stream session.
Affiliates who have been selected for an exclusive collaboration with brands are only able to add shortlisted items during their livestream sessions within the collaboration period.
Affiliates are not allowed to host live session while driving a vehicle as it endangers the safety of the public and the host themselves.
Starting 2 January 2024, Affiliates who both promote their store on Shopee Live and operate as sellers will no longer qualify for commission.
If an Affiliate advertises a product during a live stream, it may be considered fraudulent if a customer from the same household with a matching IP address makes a purchase.
Effective 7th March 2025, Shopee Affiliates may add up to 300 items into the orange bag in a single livestream session.

What happens if Shopee Live Streaming guidelines are violated?
Non-compliance with these guidelines could lead to penalties, including temporary suspension or the termination of your Shopee Livestream and Shopee Affiliate privileges. Details of the penalisation can be found in the table below:

How to check your penalty points
From 15 October 2025, users can check if they have received any penalty points by following the steps below:
1. On the Me page, select the Livestream tab.
2. Go to the Live tab and click on the Live Health banner.
3. On the Live Health page, you can view your current accumulated Penalty Points on the Status & Data section. You can view a list of violations that have occurred up to the past 30 days under the Violation Stream section. This includes details such as type of violation, the date and time the violation was detected, and the status of any appeal you may have submitted (if any).
Your account's Live Health status is determined by your accumulated penalty points. To ensure continued access to the Shopee Live feature, we recommend maintaining your status at "Good" or higher.
Shopee will automatically reset a user's penalty point to 0 on the first day of each quarter, as follows:
⚠️Notes:
1. If a user receives penalty points close to the reset date, those points will expire on that date, but any penalties (i.e livestream access) will remain in effect until the next quarter.
2. Example: If you received 12 penalty points on 31 March, your penalty points will be reset to 0 on 1 April, but your livestream access will remain banned for 30 days until 1 May.
3. Points reset is not available for users who have been permanently banned from livestreams on Shopee Live (who have accumulated 15 or more points).
If your Shopee Live account posting or commenting access are temporarily suspended, you can appeal through the Violation Stream section. Select the case to appeal and click View Detail and Appeal > Appeal.
⚠️ Note
Proof of violation is only displayed if it contains non-severe or non-expired violations
