⚠️Announcement: LATEST SHOPEE LIVE GUIDELINES [Effective 24th May 2024]:

  1. All selected Shopee Affiliates may add products from more than 1 shop to their Orange Bag in a single livestream session.

  2. It is required for all selected Affiliates to showcase a minimum of 3 physical products during their live stream session.

  3. Affiliates who have been selected for an exclusive collaboration with brands are only able to add shortlisted items during their livestream sessions within the collaboration period.

  4. Affiliates are not allowed to host live session while driving a vehicle as it endangers the safety of the public and the host themselves.

  5. Starting 2 January 2024, Affiliates who both promote their store on Shopee Live and operate as sellers will no longer qualify for commission.

  6. If an Affiliate advertises a product during a live stream, it may be considered fraudulent if a customer from the same household with a matching IP address makes a purchase.

  7. [NEW] Effective 26th July, Shopee Affiliates may add up to 100 items into the orange bag in a single livestream session.

Kindly follow Shopee Live community guidelines to ensure a safe and pleasant experience for all users. Live Streaming access will be limited if the Affiliate has been found to violate the below rules.

Using copyrighted music

Copyrighted music refers to legal ownership of a musical composition or sound recording.

  • Use of copyrighted music includes using master recordings, minus one (karaoke) recordings of songs, reproducing music / lyrics of a song whether in its original form or with changes. Use of copyrighted music is not allowed unless the copyright owner has given consent.
  • If affiliates wish to use background music during livestream, affiliates are required to use royalty-free music only.
  • Penalties or fines will be imposed if affiliates are found to violate this rule, unless affiliates are able to show consent from the copyright owner.
  • Affiliates will have to place a disclaimer on the session pin comments or description.

There are 2 ways to place a non-copyrighted music disclaimer:

Method 1: Via Stream Description

Method 2: Via Session Pin Comments

⚠️ Note

*For the following technical quality issues, the livestream session will also be terminated, with or without warning:

  • Black screen with no sound
  • Offline host/black screen with sound
  • Static screen view
