[ENG] How to submit Payment and Tax Information

To receive your earned commissions, all registered affiliates are required to submit their Payment & Tax Information.

 

Submission Methods:

  • Local Individual Affiliates: Submit via web or app

  • Overseas Individuals, Local Enterprises, Overseas Enterprises: Submit via web only


Prepare important documents such as your IC, passport, bank statement header, certificate of residence, business registration certificate (SSM), and SST document to complete the Payment & Tax Information submission.


How to Access the Payment & Tax Information Page (Web)

  1. Click here to access to Payment & Tax Information page

  2. OR in the affiliate dashboard, go to top right menu and click on Payment Setting

  3. In the Payment Setting section, there are three parts: Account Type, Tax Information, and Payment Information > Click Edit.

πŸ“Œ Submission Details by Affiliate Type

  1. Local Individual [via web & App] 
    1. Account Type
      1. Account Type: Local Individual
    2. Tax Information
      1. Front of National IC: Take a photo of the front side of your National IC
      2. Card Number: 12 digit of your IC number
      3. Full Name: Full name as per NRICS
      4. Address: Current residential address
      5. E-invoice Service: Select Yes or No to Opt-in / Opt-out for E-invoice
        (Shopee will issue self-billed E-Invoice to you. Once you select β€˜Yes’, action cannot be undone.)
      6. Do you have Tax Identification Number (TIN)? Select Yes or No if you have TIN.
        (Your TIN will be displayed on the invoice, please make sure TIN format is correct with prefix.)
      7. Tin Number: Input your TIN Number as registered in MyTax Portal
    3. Payment Information
      1. Bank Name: Choose in the selection (e.g Maybank, CIMB etc)
      2. Bank Account Number: Account number as per bank header
      3. Bank Statement Header: Upload your official bank statement
The fields that Local Individual Affiliate has to fill in are exactly the same as in the web version, but in the app version.

2. Overseas Individual [via Web Only] 
    1. Account Type
      1. Account Type: Overseas Individual

    2. Tax Information

      1. Passport: Passport Number
      2. Full Name: Full name as per NRIC
      3. Address: Current residential address
      4. Location Where Services Physically Performed: 
        If you select Service performed outside Malaysia, WHT is not applicable. However if you select Service performed in Malaysia, your commission fee will be subjected to WHT in Malaysia and need to fill in the following:
        1. Country of Residence for Tax Purposes: Select your country
        2. Certificate of Residence (COR)

        3. TIN Number: Auto-filled

    3. Payment Information

      1. Bank Name: Choose in the selection (e.g Maybank, CIMB etc)
      2. Bank Account Number: Account number as per bank header
      3. Bank Statement Header: Upload your official bank statement

    1. Account Type
      1. Account Type: Local Enterprise
    2. Tax Information
      1. Business Registration Certificate: Input your business registration number and upload the certificate in the field provided
      2. Company Name: Name as per company registration form
      3. Company Address: Current Company Address
      4. SST Registered: Select Yes or No (If you select Yes, kindly upload SST Registration Letter)
      5. TIN Number: Input your TIN Number as registered in MyTax Portal
    3. Payment Information
      1. Bank Name: Choose in the selection (e.g Maybank, CIMB etc)
      2. Bank Account Number: Account number as per bank header
      3. Bank Statement Header: Upload your official bank statement

4. Overseas Enterprise [via Web Only] 
  1. Account Type
    1. Account Type: Overseas Enterprise
  2. Tax Information
    1. Registered for SST On Digital Services: Select Yes or No. If you select Yes, kindly input the following:
      1. SST Registration Number
      2. Upload SST Registration Letter
    2. Company Name: Name as per company registration form
    3. Company Address: Current Company Address
    4. Business Registration Certificate: Input your business registration number and upload the certificate in the field provided
    5. Location Where Services Physically Performed: if you select Service performed outside Malaysia, WHT is not applicable. However if you select Service performed in Malaysia, your commission fee will be subjected to WHT in Malaysia and need to fill in the following:
      1. Country of Residence for Tax Purposes: Select your country
      2. Certificate of Residence (COR)
    6. TIN Number: Auto-filled
  3. Payment Information
    1. Bank Name: Choose in the selection (e.g Maybank, CIMB etc)
    2. Bank Identifier Code: Choose one from Swift Code/Sort Code/BSB Number from the Bank Statement Header
    3. IBAN/National Clearing Codes: Input the code according to your country
    4. Bank Address: Input the bank address where you registered your bank account
    5. Bank Account Number: Account number as per bank header
    6. Bank Statement Header: Upload your official bank statement

Upon completing all necessary fields, kindly tick the declaration box and click Submit.
