To maintain the robust ecosystem of the platform, protect the lawful rights and interests of users, and improve the overall user experience, Shopee Live will implement disciplinary actions against streamers found to be in violation of our policies and guidelines.

What is considered Recorded Content?
Recorded content includes any live streaming sessions that broadcast pre-recorded content for an extended period of time, or repeatedly playing pre-recorded content without real-time interaction with the audience. This is deemed as one kind of low-quality content that may have the potential to disrupt the ecosystem and diminish the viewer experience.

Pre-recorded Content include:

Pre-recorded image slides

Pre-recorded video clips

Pre-recorded audio clips

Pre-recorded CCTV recordings

Previous livestream sessions

Streaming duplicated content across one or more accounts

⚠️ Note
Streaming previous livestream sessions that are filmed by you or other streamers will be considered as Deceptive and/or Traffic Cheating behavior

What are the examples of Recorded Content?

Pre-recorded Video Clips:
Uploading pre-recorded commercial videos without any real-time interactions.

Pre-recorded Image Slide:

Only slides showing images are broadcasted.

What happens if I upload a Recorded Content?

Upon the discovery of a violation of Recorded Content, Shopee Live reserves the right to issue warnings and reduce the level of recommendation for the Live session in various scenarios. If the account persists in disregarding these notifications and fails to implement the required changes, Shopee Live may proceed to terminate the Live session, which could result in a temporary (30 days PC Ban) or permanent suspension of livestream access.

Shopee Live treats violations of any nature on the platform with utmost gravity and encourages all users to adhere to its rules, contributing to the creation of a more enriching experience for everyone on Shopee.
