Effective 8 June 2025, a service fee of 1% will be applied on the total commissions* earned in payment bill (with no cap) for all affiliates. 

This change allows us to keep investing in features and tools that will support your growth with Shopee for the long term, such as: 

• Commissions XTRA Protection for up to 7 (seven) days as a security for our affiliates if the seller lowers the commission rate for any Commissions XTRA products.
  
  

• Enhanced insights (audience demographics, video and product performance) on the Shopee Affiliates Program portal for Shopee Live and Shopee Video so you can understand your audience better, and see how well your affiliate link(s) performed so you can strategize for your next campaign
  
  

• Monthly campaigns and initiatives designed to drive your growth, such as Video Missions, Content Creator Club, Order Bonanza, and many more. Click here for all ongoing affiliate campaigns.

The service fee will be reflected on the Shopee Affiliates payment bill issued every 2 weeks.

Example Calculation:

Commission Completion Period: 16 May 2025 to 31 May 2025  

Validation Period: 1 June 2025 to 15 June 2025

During the Commission Completion Period, Affiliate A earned a projected total commission of RM500 (before tax). After the Validation Period, the actual total commission for Affiliate A is RM500 (before tax).

Total commission earned after validation: RM500 

Total service fee charge (with SST): RM5.40

• 1% service fee: RM5.00

• 8% SST on service fee: RM0.40 

Payable Commission: RM500 - RM5.40 = RM494.60
