1. How do I become a ShopeePay App user?
To be a ShopeePay App user, simply follow the steps below after downloading the ShopeePay App on App Store or Google Play Store:
(a) For existing Shopee users:
Step 1: Select Continue with Shopee
Step 2: Click on Continue to allow the ShopeePay App to perform an Account Security Verification
The ShopeePay App will retrieve account details from your phone's Shopee App, you will soon be logged in to the ShopeePay App and the App is ready for use
(b) Alternatively, existing Shopee users may also follow these steps:
Step 1: Select Sign Up / Log In
Step 2: Enter your Phone Number
Step 3: Click on Next
Step 4: Perform Verification
Step 5: Enter the Verification Code sent to your phone
(c) For new users:
Step 1: Select Sign Up / Log In
Step 2: Enter your Phone Number
Step 3: Click on Next
Step 4: Perform Verification
Step 5: Enter the Verification Code sent to your phone
Step 6: Tick the Terms & Conditions box
Step 7: Click on Activate Now
Step 8: Enter your Personal Information
Step 9: Click on Confirm
Step 10: Create your ShopeePay PIN
Step 11: Confirm ShopeePay PIN
2. How do I know if I have successfully registered for a ShopeePay account?
You will receive Push Notifications on the status of your registration.
3. Can foreigners register for a ShopeePay eWallet account?
Yes, you may register for a ShopeePay App account if you are a passport holder.
4. How many ShopeePay accounts can I register?
Each identification card is only allowed to be linked to one Shopee account or one ShopeePay account. If you have used your identification card to create a Shopee account, you will need to sign in via Shopee instead of creating a new ShopeePay account using the same identification.
