[ShopeePay] How to pay with ShopeePay on the Apple App Store?

1) Will I be charged any additional fees when checking out with ShopeePay in the Apple App Store?

A: There are no additional charges when checking out with ShopeePay for any Apple App Store purchases


2) How can I add ShopeePay as a payment method in the Apple App Store?

Step 1: Launch the Apple App Store and select the profile icon (top right of the screen)

Step 2: Select your name and go to manage payments

Step 3: Add payment method

Step 4: Log in to ShopeePay

Step 5: Agree to the terms & conditions to allow Apple Services to access your ShopeePay account

Step 6: Enter your ShopeePay PIN

Step 7: Once account linkage is successful, this will show in the App Store and a notification will be sent to your device


3) How do I remove ShopeePay as a payment method in the Apple App Store?

Step 1: Launch the Apple App Store and select the profile icon (top right of the screen)

Step 2: Select your name and go to manage payments


Step 4: Select ShopeePay

Step 5: Select Remove Payment Method


4) How do I request for a refund and how long will it take to be credited into my ShopeePay eWallet?

A: To request for a refund for your purchase on the Apple App Store please visit https://reportaproblem.apple.com.


The refund will be considered and approved by Apple App Store within 48 hours after the request is initiated. After Apple has approved the refund, transactions paid with:


(i) Wallet balance: Refund will be credited into the ShopeePay eWallet within 24 hours

(ii) Credit/ Debit Card: Users will receive the refund based on local issuing bank’s SLA

5) What can I do if I find unauthorized transactions made using my ShopeePay eWallet in the Apple App Store?

A: If you realize your account has been compromised, please report the issue to https://reportaproblem.apple.com.


6) What happens if I do not have sufficient funds in my ShopeePay eWallet while trying to make an in-app purchase or on the App Store?

A: If your wallet balance is insufficient, the payment would not go through and an error message will be sent to inform you that payment has failed.


7) What happens if my money is deducted from my ShopeePay eWallet but not reflected on the Apple App Store?
