1) Where can I check my road tax renewal status online and access my road tax?
You may check your road tax renewal status via MyJPJ app, which is available for download on the App Store and Google Play.
(a) After installing the application on your mobile device, sign up for a new account by clicking on the “Register New Account” button.
(b) Complete the form by entering your personal details and creating a password.
(c) After setting up your account, log in using your registered ID and password on the app’s homepage.
(d) To access your digital road tax, click on the ‘Profile’ icon at the bottom of the page.
(e) Select the “Road Tax” tab to view the digital copy of your road tax.
2) Can I renew my motorcycle Insurance/Takaful only without road tax?
Yes, you can renew your motorcycle Insurance/Takaful only. However, you will not be able to renew your road tax via the Shopee platform after renewing your motorcycle Insurance/Takaful.
3) Can I renew my road tax only?
No, you must renew your road tax together with your motorcycle Insurance/Takaful.
4) Can I renew my road tax if I have a pending summon?
Yes, you can still renew your road tax, but we recommend clearing your summons before you get blacklisted.
5) Can I renew my road tax if I have a blacklisted summon?
No, you will not be able to renew your road tax until you have cleared all blacklisted summons.
6) What can I do if I receive the wrong road tax?
You may contact our road tax partner at +603 7491 0102 (Monday-Friday from 10am to 7pm) or email to general@myroadtax.store, and they will promptly re-deliver the correct road tax to you.
7) What can I do if my road tax is not renewed within 5 working days?
You may not receive your road tax on time due to the following reasons:
(a) Your road tax has been blacklisted by JPJ; or
(b) Incorrect vehicle details
You may contact our road tax partner at +603 7491 0102 (Monday-Friday from 10am to 7pm) or email general@myroadtax.store.
Please provide the following information to ease the process:
(a) Vehicle No.;
(b) NRIC; and
(c) Insurance Expiry Date.
8) Why do I need to make a top-up payment or receive a partial refund after my purchase of the road tax payment?
Our partner may call you to request a minimal top-up payment or provide a partial refund on the road tax due to a slight discrepancy between the initial payment and the amount requested by JPJ. This is solely because of differences in road tax costs for your motorcycle's engine capacity (CC).
9) Can I cancel my road tax? And how would I go about doing it?
Cancellation and refund/return requests have to be reviewed on a case-by-case basis by our road tax partner. Common reasons for cancellations are:
(a) Change of vehicle ownership; and
(b) Change of insurance type.
Please follow the following steps:
(a) Contact our road tax partner at +603 7491 0102 (Monday-Friday from 10am to 7pm) or email to general@myroadtax.store to raise a cancellation request.
(b) Our road tax partner will email you a refund form.
(c) Fill in the refund form and submit to road tax partner for investigation.
(d) Refund will be credited to your bank account (provided in the refund form) within 1-2 working days upon successful completion of the refund form.
