1. How to Report a Video

Step 1: Select the ‘Share’ icon and tap ‘Report’.

Step 2: Choose the reason and click ‘Submit’.

Step 3: You’ll receive a notification informing you that the video has been successfully reported.

2. How to Report a Comment

Step 1: Tap the ‘Comment’ icon. Tap and hold the specific comment.

Step 2: Select ‘Report’ and choose the reason. Click ‘Submit’.

Step 3: You’ll receive a notification informing you that the video has been successfully reported.

3. How to Report a Soundtrack

Step 1: Select the ‘Share’ icon on the soundtrack page and tap ‘Report’.

Step 2: Choose a reason and write a detailed description. Click ‘Submit’.

Step 3: You’ll receive a notification informing you that the soundtrack has been successfully reported.

4. How to Report a Video for Copyright

Step 1: Select ‘Share’ icon and click ‘Report’.

Step 2: Choose Copyright Violation as the reason and insert details for the report.

Step 3: Confirm Complainant’s Declaration and complete all details and documents needed for the report. Click ‘Submit’.

Step 4: You’ll receive a notification once your report has been processed.

5. Will I get an update on the video that I reported?

Yes. Users will receive a generic pop-up message, acknowledging that the report has been received. The Shopee team will review your report and you will be notified of the final result via the Notifications tab within 10 working days.
