Terms and Conditions for Auto-Subscription

 

1.          Subscription payments are made according to the selected schedule.

Example: If the selected schedule for the transaction is a day/week/month after registration, then the subscription payment will begin in the same period.

2.          The available payment method now is Shopee Pay (Auto-debit).

3.           By enabling automatic subscription, users authorize Shopee Mobile Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. (“Shopee”) and/or ShopeePay Malaysia Sdn Bhd (“ShopeePay”) to process subscription transactions through their ShopeePay wallet.

4.          In the subscription payment feature for postpaid products, users acknowledge and fully agree that the billing amount and data listed on the Shopee platform are provided by the service provider to Shopee.

5.           Users agree that Shopee and ShopeePay shall not be liable to the user for any errors/deficiencies in the data provided by service providers.

6.          Users can change the payment period for subscription payments while in active status.

7.         Users should agree that the billing amount or product price may be different in each payment period without prior notice due to differences in user usage in the last month, price changes from service providers, or other factors affecting the billing amount or product price.

8.          If the payment system fails through auto-debit from ShopeePay for users due to certain reasons, the system will provide notification through push notification.

9.          Shopee and/or ShopeePay reserves the right to delay or not execute subscription payment transactions if:

·      The product/transaction for the subscription payment feature is unavailable or cannot be processed due to technical disruptions or similar reasons;

·       Insufficient funds in the ShopeePay wallet;

·      There is a termination of the relationship by the service provider towards user or Shopee or between ShopeePay and the user;

·      The occurrence or reasons beyond Shopee and/or ShopeePay's control, including but not limited to natural disasters, war, riots, malfunctioning system/transmission equipment, power outages, telecommunication disruptions, government policies.

 

10.       Users can stop subscription payments by deleting the subscription list they wish to terminate and re-registering on the payment page under (Prepaid, Bills & Entertainment).

11.        The subscription payment will continue until manually stopped by the user.

12.        These terms and conditions are supplemental to the Shopee Terms of Service, Shopee Privacy Policy, ShopeePay Terms of Service and ShopeePay Privacy Policy (collectively the “Shopee Terms''). In the event of any conflict, the Shopee Terms shall apply. Shopee may change any terms in this T&C at any time or cease to provide this automatic subscription function, without prior notice.
