1. Why am I getting a Refund Voucher?
For orders made using cash payment channels [such as cash on delivery (COD) and cash payment at convenience stores] or Maybank CASA, the refund should be processed to Shopeepay.
If Shopeepay is not activated within 72 hours, the refund will then be directed to the default bank account registered in your account. Refund Vouchers are typically issued when a direct refund cannot be processed, specifically if:
- Your original payment method is unavailable for refund, and
- You do not have an activated ShopeePay account, and
- You also do not have a default bank account linked to your Shopee account.
2. Where can I find the Refund Voucher and how do I utilise it? The Refund Voucher is issued and tied automatically to the buyer, hence no code is required to redeem the voucher. To utilise it, buyers can select from the list of valid vouchers during checkout. Do note the terms and conditions stated on the voucher as well. 3. Can I convert the Refund Voucher into monetary value? Yes, you can opt to have the Refund Voucher converted back into monetary value. However, please note that the conversion can only be done if the Refund Voucher has not been utilised. To request the conversion, please contact our Customer Service and provide the following information: ⚠️ Note:
The refund in monetary value can only be processed into ShopeePay or your default bank account. Hence, kindly ensure that you have activated your ShopeePay and have an existing bank account registered.
