1. Where do I view my Personal Accident Insurance policy? 

You will be able to view your policy on the Shopee App, under View E-policy  following the path below: 
 
Step 1: Go to Shopee App 

Step 2: Click on the Me tab

Step 3: Select My Insurance

Step 4: Click on Personal Accident 

 
Besides, you will also receive a confirmation e-mail from Zurich. 
 
2. Is there a waiting period to be able to submit a Personal Accident Insurance claim? 

No. For Personal Accident Insurance, all coverage benefits come into effect immediately upon the policy's effective date.
 
3. How do I perform a claim for the Personal Accident Insurance? 


  • Please reach out to Zurich’s customer service at 1-300-888-622 (Call Centre) or callcentre@zurich.com.my (E-mail) if you encounter any issues with your claim.
 
4. What are the documents required to support a claim?

Injury or Permanent Disablement

1. Original medical bill & receipts

2. Medical report and/or specialist report

3. Medical certificate

4. Police report and valid driving license; if related to a motor vehicle accident

Fatal

1. Death certificate

2. Post mortem report

3. Police report and valid driving license; if related to motor vehicle accident

4. Beneficiary identity card

5. Marriage certificate (if married) or birth certificate (if single).


⚠️ Note:
 
The list is not exhaustive, and Zurich has the right to request for any additional supporting documents required from you to support your claim and such supporting documents should be obtained by you at your expense. 
 
5. When do I have to notify Zurich of a claim?
 
All claims will need to be submitted within 14 days of the date of the occurrence of the accident giving rise to a claim.
 
6. What is the processing time for claims?

7. When will my policy be terminated? 

The policy will be terminated automatically on the policy / certificate of insurance expiry date, or the date a claim is made on the accidental death & personal disablement benefit, whichever is earlier.
