1. What are e-Invoices?
An e-Invoice is a digital record of a transactional exchange between a seller and a buyer, which goes through the government portal for validation and recordkeeping.
An e-Invoice contains all the details of an invoice along with a Unique Identification Number (UIN), which is generated by the government system after proper verification of the core fields. There is also a QR code which enables online validation of the e-invoice.
2. What is a validated e-Invoice?
An e-Invoice that has been validated by IRBM. A QR code will be generated by IRBM, which may be used to validate the status on the e-Invoice.
3. As a new seller, what documents do I need to provide?
For new sellers, please ensure you have your ID and SSM certification on hand, as we will require you to upload an image of these documents. Other than that, please ensure you have these details ready:
Company Name
ID Number
Billing Address
Tax Identification Number (TIN)
Business Registration Number
SST Number (if applicable)
4. How frequently will I receive my e-Invoice?
The e-Invoice will be sent on a monthly basis, on the 1st of every month for the previous month.
5. How long will the e-Invoice be kept for?
E-Invoices will be stored for a period of 12 months from the date of issuance in the partner app and web.
6. How can I retrieve my e-Invoice?
From the Partner Web:
Login to your account > Select the “invoice” tab on the left and the e-Invoices available will be displayed
7. Why am I not receiving my e-Invoice?
The reason you are not receiving your tax invoice could be due to missing information. Users with incomplete information will receive a Push Notification with a link to fill in the required details.
Note: Please fill in and submit the google form latest by the 15th of each month if you would like to receive the e-Invoice for the following month. Submitting information after the 15th of the month will result in a delay in receiving your e-Invoice.
