A warranty is a type of guarantee provided by the seller, manufacturer, or supplier to repair or replace a faulty product within a specified period after purchase. 2. What types of warranties are there on Shopee? There are 4 types of Warranty:
- Shop Warranty: Warranty service is provided by the seller on Shopee.
- Manufacturer Warranty: Warranty service is provided by the manufacturer of the product.
- Supplier Warranty: Warranty service is provided by the supplier of the product.
- International Warranty : Warranty that is valid across various countries
Note: The Manufacturer is the producer of the products, whereas the Supplier purchases products from manufacturers and sells them.
3. How do I check for the type of warranty?
- Shop Warranty: In Description
- Manufacturer Warranty: In Specification
- Supplier Warranty: In Specification
- International Warranty: In Specification
4. How do I claim a warranty?
- Shop Warranty: You will need to contact the seller on warranty claims or the authorized service centre through details provided by the sellers.
- Manufacturer/ Supplier Warranty/ International Warranty: You will need to contact the authorized service centre through the details provided in the warranty card. If there is no warranty card provided, kindly check the user manual or product packaging for more details. Otherwise, kindly contact sellers for assistance.
5. What if sellers, suppliers or manufacturers are not responsive to my warranty claims? If the seller, supplier, or manufacturer does not respond to your warranty claim, you may:
