1. How do I link my device for secure device binding?
To link your device, please follow these steps:
Step 1: Go to the Me tab on the ShopeePay App
Step 2: Click on Tap Secure OR;
Step 3: Click on Link Device
Step 4: Click on Link Now
Step 5: Enter your 6-Digit ShopeePay PIN
Step 6: Click on Start Facial Verification
Step 7: Click on OK
If it doesn’t work, kill the app and restart again.
2. Why does my secure device binding flow require more steps as stated above?
Secure device binding may result either in two flows:
Step 1: Go to the Me tab on the ShopeePay app
Step 2: Click on Settings
Step 3: Click on Link Device
Step 4: Click on Link Now
Step 5: Enter your 6-digit ShopeePay PIN
Step 6: Select your IC Type
Step 7: Fill out your ID Details
Step 8: Click on Next
Step 9: Enter the Verification Code
Step 10: Click on OK
3. Why am I unable to proceed with the app and stuck at the secure device binding page?
To fix this issue, kill the app or restart the app. Once completed, users can proceed with secure device binding or app utilization.
4. What should I do if I encounter a KYC revision error?
If you encounter a KYC revision error (as per the screenshot shown below), try closing the app completely or restarting it. By doing so, it should allow you to proceed with the secure device binding process. If the issue persists, please reach out to the customer service for further assistance in resolving the problem.
