[ShopeeFood] How to place a Group Order
Planning a meal with friends, family, or coworkers? ShopeeFood's Group Order feature makes it easy to place one combined order while letting each person add their own items to the cart. One person (the host) will place the order and can choose to split the bill among the group.
đĄ What is Group Order?Multiple buyers can add food items into a shared cart at the same time.
Only one buyer (the host) will submit and pay for the final order.
The host can split the bill and collect payments from group members manually.
đ¤ Host Guide
Step 1: Create a Group Order
Go to Shopee App > Store Detail Page and tap the Group Order icon (top right).
Step 2: Add Items to Cart
You'll enter Group Order Mode, where you can see membersâ statuses:
Ordering (still adding items)
Confirmed (ready to checkout)
You can only edit your own items.
Step 3: Invite Members
Share the invitation link (valid for 24 hours) to let others join your group order.
Step 4: Submit the Order
Go to Checkout > Order Details, then tap Checkout once all members have confirmed.
If not all members are ready, a pop-up will notify you.
Once submitted, the status changes to Group Order Submitted

Step 1: Join & Add Items
Tap the Group Order link and confirm to join.
Youâll be taken to the Store Detail Page in Group Order Mode.
Add your itemsâpromotions are first come, first served.
Step 2: Confirm Your Items
Tap Confirm to lock in your order.
You can still add more items, leave, or rejoin via the same link (valid for 24 hours).
Step 3: Track Order
You can check the order status after the host submits it by going to the Group Order Detail Page or using the link.
Step 1: Choose Split Method
Go to My Orders > Order Details > Split Bills.
Pick either:
Split by Person (based on items)
Split Equally (same amount per person)
Tap the tooltip for how it's calculated.
Step 2: Share the Bill
Tap Generate and Send Bills to share via social apps.
Use the Bill Details page to remind unpaid members (up to 4 times).
Step 3: Track Payments
Mark members as Paid if they paid offline or via other methods.
Youâll get a notification when all payments are completed.
Step 1: Get Notified
You'll receive a payment alert via Shopee Notification > Group Order Bills Page.
Step 2: Make Payment
Go to the ShopeePay Page and follow the host's payment instructions.
