2. How do I invest in funds?
You may invest in funds by following the steps below:

Step 1: Go to Me page > My Wallet > Select ShopeePay
Step 2: Select ShopeePay Invest
Step 3: From the Market Page, select your desired Fund
Step 4: Select Buy
Step 5: Enter the amount to purchase > Select Payment Option > Tick off the T&C box > Select Buy
Step 6: Enter your 6-digit PIN
Step 7: Transaction is being processed
3. What are the accepted payment methods for me to make my investment?
Accepted payment methods are listed as follows:
ShopeePay e-Wallet balance (Transferable Balance only, i.e., top-ups from Online Banking, Debit Card, and DuitNow Transfer only)
Bank Account (Only Bank Accounts belonging to you, joint-name accounts are not allowed)
4. How do I know what price I am buying at?
Funds typically use forward or historic pricing to calculate the per-unit price for orders. A fund’s pricing basis is determined by the asset management company and set out in the fund’s prospectus.
For funds that use forward pricing, the per-unit price for the order will only be known after the order is placed, typically one or two business days later. The actual per-unit price will be notified to you once the order is completed.
For funds that use historic pricing, the per-unit price will be known at the time of the transaction and set out on the fund details page.
If transactions are made by 2:00 p.m. on a Business Day, the transaction will be processed on the same day, with the applicable NAV per unit for that Business Day used for the transaction.
If transactions are made after 2:00 p.m. on a Business Day, the transaction will be processed the following Business Day, with the applicable NAV per unit for the following Business Day used for the transaction.
5. Is there a minimum investment amount?
Yes, the minimum investment amount for most funds available on ShopeePay Invest is RM10.
6. Is there a minimum subsequent investment amount?
Yes, the minimum subsequent investment amount for most funds available on ShopeePay Invest is RM10.
7. Why does my transaction status say “Pending” after successfully making payment for my investment?
Transactions submitted through the platform will require time to be confirmed and completed.
If transactions are made by 2:00 p.m. on a Business Day, the transaction will be processed (i.e., submitted to iFAST and the asset management company) on the same day.
If transactions are made after 2:00 p.m. on a Business Day, the transaction will be processed (i.e., submitted to iFAST and the asset management company) the following Business Day.
After completing payment to subscribe to a fund, your invested units are expected to be credited to your account by T+5 Business Days from successfully making payment. Once invested units are successfully credited to your account, you will be able to view your holdings update by viewing your Assets.
8. Why was my Buy transaction unsuccessful?
Possible reasons for encountering issues during the investment process include transferring funds from an FPX bank account that is not registered under your name, failing a bank portal authentication step (such as entering an invalid login or One Time Password), not meeting the necessary requirements, or experiencing a connection timeout with your Shopee App. If you face any of these issues, please try again later or take the necessary steps to resolve the specific problem.
