[ShopeePay Invest] Cooling-off Request
The cooling-off period lasts six (6) business days, starting from the date of your first Buy transaction in a particular fund.
Example: If your first Buy transaction is on 26 Aug 2025, you may submit this form anytime between 27 Aug 2025 and 3 Sept 2025.
During the cooling-off period, you have the right to request a refund of your first Buy transaction.
The cooling-off period ceases to apply once there is a subsequent subscription, redemption, or switch transaction, even within the cooling-off period.
The amount of the refund pursuant to your exercise of the cooling-off right is the Sales Charge paid, plus:
If the original NAV at the time of subscription is higher than the NAV at the point of exercising your cooling-off right, the NAV at the point of exercising your cooling-off right - therefore, please note that the amount refunded to you could be lower than your original investment amount; or
If the original NAV at the time of subscription is lower than the NAV at the point of exercising your cooling-off right, the original NAV at the time of subscription.
Investors of the ShopeePay Invest platform investing in a particular fund for the first time would have cooling-off rights in respect of their first investment in that fund.
Exclusions apply, such as to employees of iFAST Capital Sdn Bhd or a person registered with a body approved by the SC to deal in unit trusts.
If an investor makes a subsequent subscription into that fund, or makes a redemption or switch transaction during the cooling-off period, they will cease to have a cooling-off right in respect of their investment in that fund.
3. How do I exercise my cooling-off rights?
To exercise your cooling-off rights, you would first need to contact Shopee Customer Service via chat to retrieve the cooling-off form.
Note⚠️: Please ensure you meet the eligibility criteria. If you’ve made any subsequent buy or sell transactions, you will no longer be eligible for the cooling-off right.
4. When will I receive my refunds from exercising cooling-off rights?
If your application meets the eligibility criteria for exercising cooling-off rights, we will pay the Refund Amount, including the Sales Charge (if any), to you within 10 Business Days from the day of receiving the complete documentation.
5. Am I eligible for cooling-off rights for subsequent investments?
No, the cooling-off right is only eligible for your first investment transaction into a particular fund via the ShopeePay Invest Platform.
6. I have an investment account with iFAST Capital Sdn Bhd. Am I still eligible to exercise cooling-off rights for my first investment on ShopeePay Invest?
