When would the fees be charged?

Stamp Duty

As per Stamp Act 1949 (Revised 1989).

As of 1st January 2025, stamp duty is 0.5% of the loan amount (rounded up to the next thousand) OR a minimum of RM10, whichever is higher.

Illustration as below:

· If the loan amount is RM8,000, the stamp duty will be RM8,000*0.5% = RM40.  

· If the loan amount is RM8,001 - RM9000, the stamp duty will be RM9000*0.5% = RM45. 

· If the loan amount is RM20,000, the stamp duty will be RM20,000*0.5% = RM100. 

The fees will be deducted upfront from the disbursement amount. 

Attestation Fees

RM5 per loan withdrawal

(RM5.40 after 8% SST)

Effective 1st September 2025, an 8% Sales & Service Tax (SST) will apply to the RM5 attestation fees

This fee will be deducted upfront from the disbursement amount. 

Interest Rate

From 0.75% per month or 9% per annum 

This fee is imposed upon repayment.

Late Payment Charge

8% per annum on overdue monthly instalment, charged daily 

This fee is imposed upon repayment in the event of late payment.
