The refund process is different for each payment method used:

* The refund timeline above is equivalent to the time taken for refund completion on Shopee’s end. There might be a slight delay due to processing by payment gateways on the bank’s end.
⚠️ Note:
- If your ShopeePay is still inactive in 72 hours, the refund will be triggered (on the same daily cycle) directly to the default bank account registered in Shopee. A refund triggered to the default bank account should be reflected within 1-3 working days.
- In situations where your ShopeePay is not activated or there is no bank account (for more than 60 days from the refund creation date), Shopee may process the refund in the form of a Shopee voucher issuance (of equivalent value to the refund amount).
- Vouchers used will be refunded to the buyer for full refund cases only.
- Shopee Coins used will be refunded to the buyer in full for full refund cases and pro-rated to a partial value for partial refund cases.
- If the seller fails to respond within 3 days, your Return/Refund request will be auto-accepted.
- You are advised to keep an eye on the case and may need to respond promptly should the Shopee Agent require more evidence from your end. Should the seller decide to negotiate before you return an item, you are given 1 calendar day to counter the offer or accept the offer. No response from either party within 1 calendar day will result in you having to return the item as per the initial approval.
