If your account deletion request was rejected, here are the possible reasons:

1. Account Limitation/Restriction:

 

2. Multiple Registrations with the Same Phone Number:
Your phone number may have been used to register multiple Shopee accounts.

  • Contact us using the channels at the bottom of this page to explain the multiple sign-up instances linked to your number.

 

3. Ongoing Orders:
All orders must be completed before requesting account deletion.

  • This includes orders in delivery or return/refund processes.
  •  An order is considered complete when: 
  1. Refunds are issued to buyers.
    or
  2. Payments are released to sellers.
 

4. ShopeePay Balance or Ongoing Transactions:
To delete your account, ensure your ShopeePay balance is zero

  • Withdraw your remaining balance to your bank account. Learn how to withdraw your balance here.
  • Complete any ongoing ShopeePay transactions (e.g., withdrawals or transfers).

5. Outstanding SPayLater Bill:

  • Verify that there are no unpaid SPayLater bills. Learn how to settle SPayLater bills here.
 
6. Outstanding SLoan Bill: 
  • Ensure all SLoan bills are cleared. Learn how to settle SLoan bills here.
 

7. Open Case with Shopee:
You cannot delete your account if there are open cases. 

  • Once the case is resolved, you can proceed with your account deletion request.
