If you’re unable to sign up using your phone number, it may already be linked to an existing Shopee account. Please note that:- A phone number can only be registered to one Shopee account.
- The same rule applies to email addresses.
Why is my phone number already linked to an existing Shopee account?
Here are two possible reasons:1. You have an existing account with the same phone number- You may have signed up for Shopee before.
- Try logging in with your existing credentials.
- Forgot your password? Learn how to reset your password.
2. Your phone number was recycled
- Mobile service providers often recycle phone numbers.
- It’s possible that your number was previously owned by someone else.
⚠️ Don’t worry! The previous owner has no access to your Shopee account. This just means the outdated information is still stored in our system.
How to Fix This Issue
Option 1: Reclaim Your Phone Number
Option 2: Use Your Email Address FirstIf the reclaim process fails and you’re prompted to contact Customer Service:- Sign up with your email address instead.
- This will allow us to update your phone number for use with your account more efficiently.
