[Shipping Fee] How are DHL shipping fees calculated by Shopee? How does Shopee calculate DHL shipping fees?

English | Bahasa Malaysia

Shipping fees are calculated based on chargeable weight, either the actual or volumetric weight of your product, whichever is higher.

Actual weight is taken from weight input in Seller Centre whereas volumetric weight is dependent on product dimensions of listing. This is why sellers need to input their product's dimension in their product listing to enable Shopee's system to calculate the shipping fees when buyer place their orders.

Please note that the volumetric weight would not be applicable if you do not input any dimensions for your listings. As a result, DHL's final chargeable shipping fee may not match the shipping fee calculated via Shopee’s system.

Below is the page where you should update your product dimension in your Shopee Seller Center.

The general calculation of volumetric weight for DHL is as per below if you would like to calculate it by yourself:

Volumetric weight = Width (cm) x Length (cm) x Height (cm) / 5000

Disclaimer: Final shipping fees charged might differ due to your packaging materials, gifts and accessories added to the parcel.
