Will I be charged if I cancel my booking?

If your booking allows free cancellation, you won't be charged a cancellation fee.

If free cancellation is no longer available for your booking, you may incur a cancellation fee. These fees are determined by the property.

For non-refundable bookings, you can cancel your booking, but no refund will be issued.

For the full Terms & Conditions of your reservation, please refer to the Hotel Policies and Room Rate Policies provided by the property.

 
Where can I find the cancellation policy?

When searching for a room, you will find the booking conditions and the cancellation policy along with other room information. This information is also available in your booking order details.

 
How can I cancel my booking?

You can cancel your booking online via the Shopee app:

 

  • Tap on ‘Cancel Reservation’ on the Order Details page.
  • Select one of the reasons for cancellation.
  • An estimated refund amount will appear in a pop-up box.

 

[Important]

The refund amount is just an estimated amount. Any cancellation fees are determined by the property and listed in your cancellation policy.

Upon submitting your refund request, you can view your refund request under 'Refund Processing' status in My Orders page.

 

The estimated refund amount will be returned to your account within 7-10 working days. Please note that if you have used voucher or coins, the refund amount will be calculated accordingly. 

 

Once Shopee completes the refund to your account, you will see your refund request under 'Refund Paid' status. Tap into the refunded order card, you will see the refund detail.

When will I get my refund?

Refunds, if applicable, will be returned to your account within 7-10 working days.
