1) Launch Shopee app & tap on 'Prepaid, Tickets & Bills' > Hotel

2. Select your Destination, Check-in & Check-out dates, Number of Rooms and Number of Guests for the reservation. 

Note:

1. Destination: You may type in the search bar or scroll through the popular cities. Turn on your GPS on your phone and it will detect your current city location for easy searching.
2. Check-in & Check-out Dates: You may select your check-in & check-out dates within 6 months from today's date. Maximum length of stay per booking is 14 nights. 
3. Number of Rooms(s): Each room must have at least one adult.
4. Number of Guest(s): You may select the number of adults and the number of children respectively. For child selection, kindly include each child's age (based on birth year) so we can find you the best room, bed configuration and deals. 

Note: You do not need to pay or provide your payment details to check the hotel availability and deals. 

3. Choose your hotel according to your preference. 

Use the 'Sort By' or 'Filter' function to ease your search process. 

You may sort the available hotel options by: 

1. Popularity 
2. Lowest Price First
3. Highest Price First
4. Top Guest Ratings

Filter your options based on your preferred:

1. Hotel Star Rating
2. Guest Review Score 
3. Area
4. Property Type 

You may also view the hotel listings in map view. 

4. Tap on your preferred hotel and review the hotel details > Browse for your preferred room*

*You may filter the available rooms by 3 tags - 'Free Cancellation', 'Breakfast Included', & 'Free WiFi'.

Is breakfast include in the room rate? 

If breakfast is included, it will display "Breakfast Included" below the room type. If it is not mentioned, the hotel is not including breakfast with this room deal. 

You can review each room deals in detail including Room/Bed configuration, Rate Policies and Service & Amenities. 

5. Click 'Book' to proceed to Booking Details to fill in details:

• Main Guest Information: Ensure the main guest information is correct, as hotels might use it for validation during check-in.
• Contact Information: Fill in the email address where you can easily access to retrieve the booking details and receipt. 
• You may input your special requests but it will not be guaranteed and be depending on the hotel's availability to fulfil. 

Can I add extra bed/baby cot in my room?

The availability of extra bed/baby cot depends on the property. Additional costs for children, including extra beds, are not included in the reservation price unless stated. Please contact the property directly for this information. 

[Important] To read and understand the hotel policies before continuing to checkout as every hotel policy would vary.

Sometimes, the hotel you selected may have 'Other fees due at property', i.e.: a roundtrip seaplane transfer fee. 

6. Click 'Continue' to proceed for 'Booking Review'. 

[Important] To check all the details input for your hotel reservation, as the details are unable to change after proceeding to checkout. 

7. On the Checkout Page, you may pay the hotel reservation using ShopeePay or other payment methods to complete the order.

Payment Method available are:

• ShopeePay
• Credit / Debit Card
• Online Banking
• Credit Card Installment (Available for bookings that are more than RM500.00 only) 
• SPayLater (selected users only)

[Important] The hotel price will be held for 55 minutes. Kindly checkout in time to avoid any disappointment. 

8. Upon successful payment, click 'View Order Details'. On the Order Details page, it should take 1 - 2 minutes for the 'Booking Code' to be issued. 

Booking Details can always be found via: 

i) Shopee App > 'Tickets, Top-Ups & Bills' > Orders > 'To Receive' tab

ii) Find Booking Details in the email attachment. It is the email address you input in the Contact Information.

Refer here if you did not receive a hotel booking confirmation email. 

Scenarios you may encounter: 

1. Your hotel booking code status is still showing "Waiting to issue" instead of the actual booking code. 

Oops, you may have clicked on 'View Order Details' too quickly. System would need some time to process the booking code update. You may try the solution below: i) Kindly click ‘←' to go back to Payment Successful page.ii) Click 'View Order Details' again.iii) The Booking Code would be issued. 2. If you accidentally exit the app while checking out, and when you open Shopee App, you can't find the checkout page.How to retrieve my unpaid hotel booking order to pay? Steps:i) Click 'Orders' on DP landing pageii) Find your hotel booking order under 'To Pay' tabiii) Click 'Pay Now' to proceed paymentYou shall pay within 55 minutes or else the hotel booking order will be cancelled.
