[Cash on Delivery] How do I pay with the Cash on Delivery (COD) payment option?

Cash on delivery is Shopee's new payment method aimed to provide buyers with an additional payment option that is convenient and reassuring. You will have the option to make payment only when receiving your order.
Follow the steps below to learn how to pay with COD:
Step 1: Click on Payment Option at the checkout page
Step 2: Select Cash on Delivery
Step 3: Click on CONFIRM
Step 4: Click on Place Order
After placing your order, it will appear under the To Pay tab in My Purchases for 2 hours (COD Confirmation Period). You can cancel the order within this time.
If you want to change your payment method, cancel the order and make a new purchase using the desired method.
After the COD Confirmation Period, your order will move to the To Ship tab, and the seller will be notified to ship it. You can't complete the order until it's delivered.
💡 Tips:
- You can still attempt to cancel your COD order when it appears in the To Ship tab, but only if the Tracking Number has NOT been generated yet.
⚠️ Note:
- The payable amount will be rounded to the nearest 5 cents when paying by cash.
- There will be 3 delivery attempts for COD orders if a recipient is unavailable, after which the order will be returned to the seller.
- If a seller does not enable COD as a payment option, you will not be able to select COD as your payment method during checkout.
