Yes, you can still pay Zakat via Shopee even if you have not registered with a Zakat Institution. After making a Zakat contribution on Shopee, you may register for an account on the respective Zakat portal.

How do I find out how much my Zakat contribution has been so far?

Depending on the Zakat Institution you have chosen, kindly register for an individual account or log in to your existing account on that Zakat Institution’s portal to monitor your contribution amount.

Can Zakat contribution be refunded?

All Zakat contributions are non-refundable on Shopee. Kindly verify your Zakat details, including your selected Zakat Institution, Zakat amount, and NRIC number, before proceeding to checkout to ensure the payment is processed correctly.

Terms and Conditions on Zakat Payment are as follows:

1. Zakat Service on Shopee App is collaborated with respective Zakat Institutions in Malaysia. 
2. All Zakat payments will be processed according to your selected Zakat Institution and Zakat Type. 
3. You are responsible to ensure your personal details provided during the payment process are true and correct. You acknowledge and agree that your personal details provided will be shared with the selected Zakat Institutions as part of the Zakat Payment Service, which among others, include for the issuance of official receipt to you, if applicable. 
4. The Zakat payment confirmation on Shopee is not an official receipt or tax exempted receipt from the Zakat Institutions. The respective Zakat Institutions will issue such official receipts to you, or you may retrieve from the respective Zakat Institution portal, depending on respective Zakat Institution’s policy. Please contact your respective Zakat Institutions, should you have any questions.

5. There will be no refund from Shopee once Zakat payment(s) is made.

6. You will not earn Shopee Coins for the amount paid for Zakat and you are not allowed to use a voucher to offset the Zakat payment amount.
7. Shopee reserves the right to vary, delete or add to any of the terms and conditions of this Terms and Conditions at any time at Shopee’s absolute discretion without prior notice.
