[Product Ratings] Why is my product review removed?

Buyers often refer to product reviews before making a purchasing decision. Honest, accurate product reviews can give other buyers useful information about the product before making a purchase.

 

To ensure all product reviews are of good quality and relevant to the product listing, Shopee removes product reviews that contain content (text and/or images and video) that is:

 

  • Abusive, vulgar or otherwise objectionable
  • Not relevant to the product or the service provided by the seller

⚠️ Nota: 

 

  • Shopee rewards up to 5 coins for each quality review with both photo or video, and up to 3 coins for each review with at least 1 photo or 1 video. However, any reviews that do not adhere to product review guidelines will be removed by Shopee, and coins given will be withdrawn from the buyer. 

 

*Coin reward will vary depending on review quality and item reviewed. The final decision is up to Shopee’s discretion.

Sellers

 

Responding to buyers' product reviews reflects well on your customer service and accountability.

 

If the buyer writes a negative review for your product, you should politely answer the buyer's complaints and offer follow-up service. Responding to a review rudely will deter potential buyers from purchasing your products in the future.

 

In order to provide a pleasant shopping experience, Shopee removes responses that contain content that is:

 

  • Not relevant to the product or the review from the buyer
  • Abusive, vulgar, or otherwise objectionable
