[Digital Products - Bus & Shuttle] How do I search and buy a bus ticket on Shopee?

1) Launch Shopee app & tap on 'Prepaid, Tickets & Bills > Bus & Shuttle 

 

 

2) Select your departure point and arrival point, dates and number of pax travelling. 

 

Note: 

  1. Departure Point and Arrival Point: You may type in the search bar or scroll through the popular cities. The input for both points have to be different. 
  2. Dates: You may select your trip date within 90 days from today's date. 
  3. Round-Trip Toggle: You may toggle on 'Round-Trip' if you are looking for a return bus trip. 
  4. Number of Pax: Both Adult and Child pax should not be more than 10. The maximum search is 10 pax.
  5. Age Count: Child age is between 2 to 12 years old. The age count is based on one's birth year.

for e.g.: X was born on 2-Dec-2018, Ticket purchased on 10-Jan-2020 and will depart on 15-Jan-2020. 

Age Count: 2020 - 2018 = 2 years old. Hence, X will need a ticket as age count is based on birth year. 

 

For children under 2 years old, it is free boarding to the bus. However, he/she will not be entitled to a seat, unless he/see holds a child ticket. 

 

 

p/s: You do not need to pay or provide your payment details to check the bus availability and fares. 

 

 

3) Choose your departure & arrival bus trip according to your preference. 

You may select your desired boarding point / arrival point to narrow down the available trip options. 

 

 

Use the 'Sort By' or 'Filter' function to ease your search process! 

 

You may sort the available trip options by:

  1. Lowest Price
  2. Earliest Departure
  3. Earliest Estimated Arrival
  4. Shortest Duration

Filter your options based on your preferred:

  1. Departure Time
  2. Arrival Time
  3. Bus Operator
  4. Facilities
  5. Seat Capacity

 

 

You may also Change Date on trip result list page. 

 

Note:

  1. Departure trip date is changeable up to the return date input previously. The remaining dates are greyed out.
  2. If you want to choose a departure date that is after the selected return date, you may have to reselect the Return Date in the Main Page in order to do so. 
  3. Arrival trip date is changeable up to 90 days from today's date. 

 

4) Tap on your preferred route > Review the route details, Refund and Reschedule Policy & Ticket Instruction > Click Select as Departure Bus & Return Bus (if applicable) 

 

 

 

 

Sometimes, you may need to select the Pick-up point and Drop-off Point depending on your trip. 

 

 

 

5) After selecting the bus trips, you will need to fill in Collector Details and Passenger(s) Details. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

You will not be able to checkout if one of the details is not being filled. 

 

 

Sometimes, there might be more passenger information required depending on the selected bus operator. 

 

 

 

6) Click 'Select Seat(s)' or 'Checkout Directly' to continue your purchase. There will be a pop up message to alert you to confirm your details, as no changes can be made after. Click 'Yes, Continue' to proceed. 

 

 

7) You may reserve your preferred seats for trips that allow seat selection during booking. 

 

Some buses may be double deckers, slide to the left on your screen to show Decker 2 seatings. Alternatively, you may select 'Decker 2' from the Decker dropdown. 

 

 

Select your departure seat > Click 'Next Bus' > Select your return seat (if applicable) > Click 'Checkout'

 

 

8) On the Checkout page, you may pay the bus tickets using ShopeePay or other payment methods to complete the order. 

 

Payment Methods available are:

  1. ShopeePay
  2. Credit / Debit Card
  3. Online Banking

 

 

 

9) Upon payment successful, Click 'View Order Details' > Tap on 'View Order Summary' on Order Details page. 

 

 

 

Order Summary can be found in:

 

i) Shopee App > 'Deals, Top-Ups & Bills' > Orders 

 

 

 

ii) Find Order Summary in the email attachment. It is the email address you input in the Collector details page. Refer Article HERE if you did not receive a bus confirmation email. 

 

 

Scenarios you may encounter: 

  1. Your ticket status is still showing "Processing" instead of "View Order Summary". 

Oops, you may have clicked on 'View Order Details' too quickly. System would need some time to process for system update. You may try the solution below: 

  • Kindly click '←' to go back to Payment Successful page. 
  • Click 'View Order Details' again.
  • The E-Ticket bar status should update to 'View Order Summary'.

 

 

 

2. If you accidentally exit the app while checking out, and when you open Shopee App again, you can't find the checkout page. 

 

How to retrieve my unpaid bus order to pay?

  1. Click 'Orders' on DP landing page.
  2. Find your bus order under to 'To Pay' tab. 
  3. Click 'Pay Now' to proceed payment. 

You shall pay within 7 minutes or else the bus order will be cancelled.
