All buyers must sign up for a new account before they are able to make their purchase. To know more about how to sign up for a new account, please refer to our Help Center article on How do I create a Shopee account?
Below are some of the common reasons you are unable to sign up for a new account with Shopee:
If your phone number has been registered with Shopee, please try to recall your password to allow you to log in instead. Otherwise, you may also click on Forgot Password and our system will send you an OTP to your phone number to reset your password.
Do note that if your email address has been registered, you may try to recall your password and attempt to log in to your account again. However, if you are not able to remember your password, please contact our customer service agents via the channels at the bottom of the page for further assistance.
Suppose you have previously used the feature of Sign Up with Facebook, this will automatically synchronise your account and allow you to use your Facebook Email Address and Password to log in to your Shopee account. You may then proceed to add your phone number to this account to use this account for your purchases. Alternatively, you may also delete this account created through Sign Up with Facebook to unlink your email address to be used for your main account.
