[Chat] How do I chat with sellers?

Initiating a Chat with Sellers:


1. Via Shop Page:
  • Action: Select "Chat" from the seller's shop page.

 

 

2. Via Chat Icon:
  • Action: Look for the Chat icon on various Shopee app pages to contact the seller.


 

 

Common Reasons to Chat:

  • Product Inquiries: Ask about specific product details
  • Shop Information: Learn more about the seller's shop information/policies.
  • Order Status: Get updates on your current orders.
  • Price Negotiations: Offer a different price for products.


Reporting Inappropriate Behavior: 
  • Offensive Messages: If a seller sends offensive chat messages.
  • Unauthorized Listings: If you spot unauthorized product listings
    • Action: Follow the steps to report inappropriate behavior.
    • Assurance: Your identity will remain anonymous when reporting.

Troubleshooting Chat Issues:
If you're unable to send messages to the seller, check if you have done the following items:

1. Ensure your phone has a stable internet connection.
2. Update the Shopee app to the latest version.

3.Register your phone number on the Shopee app.

If the above troubleshooting methods do not work, you may have trouble contacting the seller because:

1. The seller’s account might have been banned
2. The seller might have blocked your account.


New Feature: 
Sellers now can direct your inquiry to Shopee Customer Service Team. If the seller requires the assistance from Shopee to resolve you inquiry. You may click on the "Chat with Shopee " and your inquiry will be directed to Shopee Customer Service Team.
