The Cash on Delivery (COD) payment method may be currently unavailable for your Shopee account because:
- Your order does not meet the COD criteria. Currently, COD is only available for selected sellers and orders value of:
- The seller has turned off the COD payment method options for the shop orders.
- Items that fall under the category of High Value Items are not eligible for COD payment options.
- Items that fall under Perishable categories are not listed under the COD payment options.
- COD payment options are only available for selected Shopee-supported Logistics Partners, specific delivery coverage areas, and selected postal codes.
- System detected unusual activity with your account or with your previous COD orders.
For serious cases of refusal or repeated failure to collect COD parcels, Shopee may permanently suspend the COD payment option depending on the situation.
🚩 You will not be penalised if the failed COD orders are due to:
● Logistics and delivery issues (e.g., package loss, damage, delivery failure).
● Seller handling errors (e.g., seller did not arrange shipment on time/order cancelled by system).
