[Feedbacks] How do I report a user?

To report a user, you can do so via Chat or the shop page. You can report users if you think they are engaging in inappropriate behaviour, such as:


1) Rude or abusive chat messages:
Example: Seller send rude and abusive messages, requesting buyer to destroy item as they did not pay for it / involve in discussions about contentious topics such as religion or politics

2) Asking buyer to cancel order:
Example: Seller reach out to buyer to cancel order

3) Directing transactions out of Shopee platform:
Example: Seller asks buyer to pay by direct banking into seller's personal bank account

4) Engaging in chat spam:
Example: Seller persistently sends buyer messages to request a change in the rating

5) Unauthorized listing of products:
Example: Seller selling fake products under another's brand name without authorization

Note: Shopee will exercise discretion in determining both the outcomes and the course of the investigation.

 

Reporting a user via Chat

Select the Chat icon > select the relevant chat > more options icon > Report this user.

 

 

Reporting a seller via shop page

Go to the seller's shop page > more options icon > Report this user.

*Note: Please rest assured that your identity will remain anonymous if you choose to report a user.
